Judi over at Mommy of Two has a Meme called Weekend Reflection
I am calling this meme “Weekend Reflection”. It is my hope that everyone will use this meme to take time on their Saturdays to look back over the week and really think about what has happened in your lives. Then, list at least three things (more if you like) that were positive in your life that week.
1. I am thankful because I had some wonderful ladies at my church make dinner for my husband and boys once again. This really helps since it is difficult to make a nice meal you can not eat.
2. I got a pedicure and I have pretty toes. It has been years since I have had a pedicure. What to know something funny, when I was going into the hospital for my jaw surgery I was up late painting my toenails. My husband said “what are you doing?” and I said well they are going to be seeing me in all my glory, I should at least have pretty toes. HA!
3.The doctor said I am healing nicely and I should only have the rubber bands for another two weeks.

Only two more weeks. I’m so glad. And boy, I wish I could get my hands on any spares you have laying around - those little orthodontic rubber bands are the only thing I can use on this stupid topknot I’m trying to force Chelsea to have.
This is a nice meme. I’m sure each of us can find at least three positive things, things to be thankful for, every week.
I still can’t believe your boss gave you a pedicure for a get well gift. He’s a keeper! And I do understand about painting your toenails before the surgery. I always made sure my legs were shaved all the way up to my elbows when I was getting ready to deliver a baby. Silly me. As if anyone cares or notices.

Oh I like this idea. I think I will add this to my journal of “discovery”…it will give me positive insight into how god is working in my life. As always, I enjoy my visits here
