My refections:
1. I was so overwhelmed and blessed by the love I felt on my birthday. We really did not do much around here because it is kind of hard to “take me to dinner”. So you guys reaching out made my day!
2. I am excited that I actually have worked up enough energy to take a morning walk. It was very peaceful and quiet. I do think I killed my out of shape dog, he is right now sprawled out on the bathroom floor =)
3. I am blessed I have a job where I can bring in a little bit of extra money, but I have total flexibility to come and go. This job has some frustrations with it, but I have to keep reminding myself how good I have it.

I thought we were the only family who thought of birthdays as “time to go out to eat”. It is one of the few things my husband and I both enjoy so it is one of our few date type activities.
This is a very nice on-going meme. It’s good to stop and think of everything that is good in our lives. Makes us much more thankful and grateful and our whole outlook and how we react becomes different.

Great reflection. I am glad you are participating. I think it helps to see the good in each week. I am glad you had a good birthday. Sorry I missed it! I too think all jobs have drawbacks, but it is good that you can see the good of it too.
