For the sake of discussion I will read into what you said…
Is it true that “everything Christ did was because of calvary”? Was there no other motive behind it? Was the establishment of the kingdom of God not on his mind? Does that always tie into Calvary? It was for sure the culmination of all he did on earth so far, but was everything he did because of that? Just a thought that ran through my head.
I had the privilege of reading through the gospels in 4 days this past weekend, because I had to for a class, so needless to say I have a lot of thoughts running through my head right now! I think I may try to do that every year around this time. It was a huge blessing. I am rambling…thanks for reading!
Michael, you have given me something to chew over. But what just popped into my head was, there would be no establishing the kingdom if there was no Calvary. Righ? The only way to have a Kingdom was through Calvary, right? God already lives in heaven, but he loved us so much he wanted to have fellowship with us, in order for that to happen there had to be a Calvary.
Anyone else have thoughts??? I would love to hear them, I could be wrong (you know it does happen ;))
