Thirteen Things about my boys
1. They have a great sense of humor
2. They call me “pretty Mommy” (ok, ok it is usually when they want something, but I will take it)
3. They get good grades in school.
4. They let Mom sleep in on Saturday mornings if she is tired.
5. They help me kill all creepy, crawling things that may lurk in my house.
6. They tear up if they see me crying because my feeling got hurt.
7. They all love God with all their heart.
8. They make good friends.
9. They fight with each other, but if anyone outside the family tries to messy with a brother, the other two are there to defend. “Hey I am the only one that can call my brother that….whap…” (now I don’t encourage this behavior, but like my oldest said, “its ok Mom, I will take the punishment for it, it was worth it”)
10. They like my cooking.
11. They love to still hang out with their parents (most of the time).
12. They don’t “date” yet, so I am still the #1 gal in their life.
13. They all say they want to marry someone just like me.
Now notice I did not list: they like to clean their room, they do all their chores, they never makes mess’, I never trip on shoes, etc….. (I can only dream about these =))

Great list!! What super boys you have
You’ve reminded me that with all three of my children, I’m the one who has to shoo the bugs out of the house (even my son). Oh well, what are Mom’s for? Happy 13. Cheers.

How did you get them to call you “pretty mommy”? Wow that is AWESOME. I’m going to have to work on that one.
Your boys sound so cute! I love that the oldest thinks the punishment is worth it. Makes me want to give him a big hug.

#13 made me teary eyed Laurel. To hear your sons say that, well, you know you’ve done everything right. No higher compliment a mother can receive. Sounds like you’re raising some fine sons.
