Thankful Thursday

by Lori

Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that
we may sing for joy and be glad all our days. Psalm 90:14

1. I am so thankful to see how Christians can come together and pray for one another. I am in awe of the results for Kelli…just plain awe. And I am so glad we will have eternity together, because I want to sit and chat face to face with each and every one of you. And if you have any, any doubt if you are a Christian or not, go under, the tab “what I believe” and it will lead you to Christian Women Online where they explain everything so well.

2. I am thankful for the men and women we have serving. A family member leaves in one month. I am proud and scared at the same time.

3. I am thankful for my church’s leadership. I am blessed to be under a pastor that truly has the gift of “Sheparding”. And we have great youth ministers that pour their hearts into the youth.

4. I am so blessed by loving and encouraging family. They lift me up when I am down, pray for me, and offer encouragement just when I need it.

I could go on, and on for some reason my heart is soooo full. I praise God from whom ALL BLESSINGS FLOW.

Head on over to Sting My Heart.

Wonderful list! I was very encouraged by the outpouring of love and support for Kelli,also...putting into practice being doers of the Word and not just hearers only. I appreciate God at work in so many hearts.

"I am proud and scared at the same time." No other phrase quite sums up those feelings as well. One of the other moms in my Bible circle has had her husband deployed in Afghn. since August. He will come home 2/1. Your words say exactly how I have been feeling. I have been humbled to be in the presence of a woman who can raise 3 children on her own and a man who can give so much of himself for his country. I will lift your family up in pray. Blessings in Christ...Jennifer

What a lovely post of thankfulness.

As the mom of a son who is returning to Iraq in a matter of a days, I totally understand the whole 'being proud and scared' thing. So I pray. And pray. And pray.

And I join you in gratefulness for a good pastor. Our pastor loves people, he has a real shepherd's heart.

You are right - I had a hard time to stop too, but I didn't wanted to overwhelm people...
I think it is soooo awesome that people in the blogsphere have been responding so generously to the call to help Kelli.
I am too looking forward to the day to walk the streets of golden with a bunch of people from the blogsphere.
Blessings on your day and always...
    Off to work now.

Good Morning Laurel. Beautiful list. Yes, the response for Kelli was beyond belief...just like God. I'm heading out for my Bible Study now.

Blessings to you today and always.
