To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power, 12 so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 1: 11-12
3. I am thankful that my youngest son is showing some progress in his reading. It is a slow but worthwhile road. 4. I am thankful that my middle son will be graduating 5th grade with honors, next week. (not sure if I am thankful school will be out though, hehe) 5. I am thankful Darlene has given me the opportunity to write for Internet Cafe. It is difficult to explain what each of us goes through each time we write, many times you draw a blank, and you fear, but God always comes through. Then you write something and when you proof read it you realize it WAS NOT YOU who wrote it. God is so faithful, I am sure the others would tell you the same. It is almost sureal. Anyways I mention that because today was my day to post, and if you get a chance I would love for you to stop by here. I will be honest for some reason this post touched me deeply, and was somewhat difficult to write. But like I said God is teaching me just as much as those of you who read it. To join in or read more Thankful Thrusdays, head on over to Sting My Heart. Have a great Thursday.

Congrats on your middle son. With honors - way cool.
I so totally agree with you on the writing for Darlene’s blog. I love it, but sometimes it is gut-wrenching when you only have a title in our head all day, but nothing else — it is a God thing when the page is empty, but all of a sudden it is filled.
Don’t be too hard on yourself — God is not. If we run to Him, He is faithful and will cleanse us…
Thank you for sharing your thankfulness with us this week.
Blessing to you and yours.
Good for your son! I think we are our own biggest criticizers - it’s definitely humbling to know that God loves us no matter what.

You know this is a timely post for me. I’ve asked myself where my miracle is countless times in the past week. Thank you for reminding me that we don’t always get what we ask for but God is still who HE says he is. I needed to read this.
Praise God for all your thankfuls:)

I just love reading these lists. The thankfulness of others somehow blesses those who read it. I appreciate your sweet spirit Laurel - the way you see God’s hand in everything thing that comes into your life. It is a reminder to me to look for His touch on everything that comes my way too.
