Vitamin C is one of the most important supplements taken to enhance our immune system. If we feel a cold coming on vitamin C is one of the first supplements we take in hopes that is will naturally fight the cold for us. Did you know Vitamin C can do wonders for your skin also?
L-ascorbic acid, otherwise known as vitamin C, helps protect our skin from UV damage. I was given a sample of C Extreme Results Essentials. This is a two part process that helps exfoliate your skin while giving it that needed boost of vitamin C. The first step, (part 1) you apply a soft salt crystal textured exfoliate all over your face and leave it on your face for about three minutes. These crystals loosen any dead or dry skin cells, while softening the skin as the same time.
When I first read they were salt crystals my first thought was that it was going to dry out my face. I usually go for more sugary scrubs than salt scrubs. But after leaving part 1 on for three minutes you add part 2 on top of the crystals. Part 2 action creates a soft foaming action all over your face. Some of the ingredients in part 2 include vitamin A which helps with the health of your skin cells and vitamin E that has great moisturizing capabilities. It left my skin feeling very soft.
If this was just another facial scrub used to prevent dry skin, I would tell you it is nice but probably not worth the price.
What makes me love C Extreme Results Essentials is the additional ingredients of vitamin C, vitamin E and vitamin A.
Yes taking these vitamins orally can benefit your skin, but using a scrub with these vitamins gives your skin the antioxidants it needs, along with stimulating collagen. Because C Extreme Results Essentials is so rich you only need to use this two step method twice a month. This product is a bit on the expensive side, but only using it twice a month I can only image this is going to last you a very long time. I personally loved this two step program. I love the fact it is something I only have to do twice a month, not daily (I like easy). If you are looking for a facial scrub that makes a real difference and does not make you do a lot to achieve the desired results, you can not go wrong with C Extreme Results Essentials. I have lived in two different states that have the sun shining year around. No matter how proactive I am in wearing sunscreen, my face does experience sun damage, it is inevitable.
