First Shalee copied Chilihead, and Shalee said friends copy friends. So I have to share a funny from last night.
To understand this joke:
1. Hubby and I have never been divorced.
2. I am eleven months OLDER than my husand.
Last night we were at our first high school football meeting (gasp, that is another post in it self)..anyways, afterwards we were mingling around and oldest boy was chatting with some of his friends.
One of his friends came up to us, and looked at oldest boy and said, “This your Mom?” He answered yes, then the boy responded, “well you must be his step Mom because you are not old enough to be his Mom.” My son just sat there giggling, and I praise God I was not drinking or I would have spit it out all over the young boy.
He is going into 9th grade, where do these boys learn to talk like that??
Hindsight is 20/20, I so wish I would have responded, “YEP, just call me trophy wife.” HA!

One of the advantages of having kids when you are young! I am just over 2 years older than my husband, yet I am the one who always gets carded. Maybe I should grow a beard too - or not!

I thoroughly enjoy it when someone says something like that to me… but then that doesn’t seem to happen very often. *sigh*….
