My dear beloved Amy has gone home to meet her Lord. Shortly after 4:00 PM on this, September 10th, 2007, she took her last sweet breath.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your friend. It is difficult to send one we love on ahead.

For those of us who have followed Amy’s journey from her very first post, it’s just so heartbreaking that she lost the battle today.

Although I grieve her loss and pray for her husband and baby boy, I’m so glad her suffering is over.

She’s in a better place. And maybe, finally, she can smile and laugh and rejoice in being healed.

Thank you so much for sharing, Laurel. I have read some of her posts. She was always an encouragement. I grieve for her family, but like Barb said – she is in a much better place now.

I woke up thinking about and praying for Amy this morning – not knowing that she had already gone home to be with her beloved Savior. Oh how my heart hurts with a mingling of sorrow and joy. I am so thankful for Jesus. He is truly our hope and our salvation.

I have read her blog for a long time and I am so relieved her suffering has ended. Her husband and son will remain in my prayers. I love imagining her today with Jesus as she must feel so wonderful at last!

I have been following Amy’s blog for some time. What a testimony she had and a strong legacy she has left. I am praying for her family, as well as, all of you, her dear friends. May God’s peace overwhelm you during this time!
