Author of the Left Behind series have a series of fiction books based on scripture. Their latest book of The Jesus Chronicles is “Luke’s Story.” We begin the story of the life of Luke when he is a Greek slave. Through various opportunities Luke was given his freedom and also a paid scholarship to attend the University. While studying at the University he is introduced to Saul of Tarsus. No one could debate Luke like Saul. Both very different but yet drawn to one another. From a distant both Luke and Saul hear stories about some man named Jesus and the miracles he was performing. Luke having a doctor’s mind did not believe the rumors.

This book follows the dramatic conversion of Paul and how Luke, once being a skeptical, dedicated his life to this man named Jesus. This book is fiction but I loved how the authors brought to life the human side of Paul and Luke. I finished reading this book in two days; I could not put it down. At the end we read Luke’s complete gospel that he wrote to share with everyone.

Luke’s Story (The Jesus Chronicles) can be purchased on Amazon, BooksChristian.com, or Christianbooks. com.
