Don’t forget to read about the companion cookbook The Potluck Club Cookbook along with a few posted recipes. You have heard of reality TV but is America ready to meet the Potluck Catering Club on reality TV? The women of the Potluck Catering Club has a growing business, so much so Lisa Leann’s son made them the subject of a film-maker’s class project. Unfortunately, when each person signed off on his documentary they failed to read the fine print. Lisa Leann’s son entered them into the television’s reality show “Great Party Showdown.” They are selected as one of the finalists so the potluck club heads to the Big Apple for the adventure of a lifetime.
A Taste of Fame dishes up the perfect combination of adventure, humor, and mouth-watering food. This book was like sitting down before a plate of comfort food. It will have you laughing out loud. Even though this is number two in the potluck club series, I found it to be a perfect stand alone book.
A Taste of Fame, Potluck Catering Club Series #2 can be purchased here.
And if you are interested The Secret’s in the Sauce, Potluck Catering Club Series #1 can be purchased here.
Available September 2009 at your favorite bookseller from Revell, a division of Baker Publishing Group.

I am so thrilled (and I know Linda will be too!) to know that you enjoyed this book. Linda and I had a blast writing it and an even bigger blast doing the research. We went to NYC in December '07 to spend several days living like the Potluck Girls … wandering around the city and, yes — we DID take the subway from the airport to SoHo (just like the Potluck Girls) and YES, Linda and I did get separated on the subway when we were heading to midtown to see the Empire State Building (just like Evie and Lisa Leann). So, as you are reading the book you can ask yourself, “Hmmm… wonder if this really happened to Linda and Eva” … and you can know that truth really is stranger than fiction.
I seriously wondered, ha! The subway incident cracked me up because I can
totally see myself doing that, ha. Thanks so much for you comment.
