I was going through a tough time, and that book helped me to understand God's pruning is not punishment. He prunes us to discard what is withered or dead so that we can produce more fruit. Now as I face challenges, I look for God's pruning shears with joyful confidence and not fear. Praise God! One small book in particular stands out, and that is Secrets of the Vine by Bruce Wilkenson.
