I wanted to let you wonderful people know that I am trying my best to keep up with ya’ll but my laptop is still at the Geek Drs. office. Somehow I manged to fry a hard drive that was only 3 months old. Don’t ask me how I did that I have no idea. And of course they don’t have the hard drive I need, so they need to ship it out to be fixed. Thank goodness, it is all covered under warranty. But it will still be another week before I get it back.
I have been begging, borrowing, and sometimes sneaking my husbands or my oldest son’s computer =) So it makes it difficult to always keep up with my Google Reader. So if I have not visited or commented please don’t take it personally. In a week or two I should be up running.
Well actually the first week of May I head to Arizona and I won’t be blogging then. So I am asking…
PLEASE BEAR WITH ME!

Bearing with you, sweet Laurel. It’s no problem at all. (Easy for me to say - my hard drive’s not fried. LOL)
Travel safe and don’t you worry about a thing. We know you, we love you and we aren’t going anywhere.
Where, oh where in Arizona??? Maybe you can borrow MY laptop
I always bear with you
- Ha, but then again, I’ll see you in a couple of weeks *grin*…
So frustrating. Now that I also have my own laptop I can’t imagine being without it for weeks. Don’t worry about us. We’ll be here.
Hope you get it back soon…I would have lost my patience by now!
If it was a new computer(as is the case) then the fried hardrive is not your fault (just like on a new car the engine going would not be your fault after only 3 months). Even if you left the computer on for all that time it should not ruin the harddrive–that indicates that either the fans (or the location of the fans) are bad in this particular system thus overheating it and knocking out the harddrive or that there was something actually wrong with the hardrive before you got it.
Of course we will bear with you. Computers are amazing things, but it sure is frustrating when they are “sick”. It is my considered opinion that “things” we pay good money for should never break down. Somehow I don’t think that’s ever going to happen:-)
Have a safe, good trip to Arizona.
We’ll be here.
How frustrating! I’m thankful you’re under warranty (but you needed it way too soon!).
