I feel totally out of things right now, it is going to take me a bit to get back into routine. I did manage to get my tree up today, that is in between sleeping. I am so glad I came back from AZ on a Friday so I had the whole weekend to sleep. I want to know who prayed for my return trip. I NEVER NEVER in my life have been able to sleep on the plane, but when the plane left AZ I was out. Next thing I knew we were landing in Atlanta for our 3 hour layover. Then we got back on the plane for our one hour trip to Orlando, and I slept again!! I could not believe it. I guess it was a mixture of really not feeling well and over the counter drugs
I am still very weak, I think I am fighting a sinus infection that just wears me down. But tomorrow is Monday and normal routine awaits. Back to driving here and there.
Despite things not going as planned (like being able to meet up with Iris) it was a nice visit to Arizona. I ate a lot of food, did some shopping with Mom, and got to see my SIL who is ready for her twin boys to be born and my sister who is three months pregnant. Plus all my nieces, they were so much fun to play with. The good news is I get to go back in January sometime to help with the twins when they arrive (which I kept telling them, not until after Christmas please). We will see if the boys listen
I have visited almost all Thankful Thursday participants, please forgive me that it has taken me so long. Hopefully I will get back into the swing of things here soon, which means Christmas baking, Christmas shopping, etc….

I’m so glad to hear you are home safe and sound. I certainly prayed for you, as I know it NOT fun to be sick over the holidays.
Great job on getting your tree up!!! I’m hoping to get mine up this next week.
Praying, that you continue to feel better.
Me! Me! I prayed
LOL
So, January, huh…. I think I know where I want to go for my birthday!
Glad to hear you got some sleep. When you are sick that is the best thing. It sounds like you will have many new additions to your family soon. My brother has a set of twins, boys, 9 years old. We love them. They are very spoiled though. Enjoyed reading your post. Thanks for sharing. God Bless!
It took me a while to realize that your feed had just completely disappeared from my bloglines. I had to Google you! LOL
I’m sorry you were sick on your trip and I’m admitting I didn’t pray because guess what…I didn’t even know. Sigh.
Glad you’re home. Glad you were able to sleep on the flights. And I hope you feel 100% better soon. Christmas is no time to be sick, especially if you have to make another trip sooner than you expect which isn’t unusual with twins. Sorry. Didn’t mean to make you more nervous. LOL
Dear Laurel
I am sending you lots of get well soon prayers from over here!
I am glad you had a great time with your family.
I can not wait to hear about all these beautiful new babies coming into the world. It sounds like your family is going to have a wonderful Christmas and new year!
I prayed for sleep too! SO glad you were able to get home safely and not be in pain. Get better–100% asap!
Praying those twins stay inside until after Christmas—when is the official due date again?
Get some rest…fluids, vitamin C, etc. Hope you’re well soon!
Laurel,
Love you..
I seem to have forgotten how to blog as well…
Praying for recovery and a return to routine!
Hi Laurel,
I’m so sorry you were not feeling well, I’m so blessed you are better now.
Your trip sounded wonderful. Isn’t it neat to see family again?
I’m so blessed you get to go back and see the babies.
Thanks again for being such a gracious host during such a HECTIC time!
Welcome back to blogland…I’m just getting back myself!
Susan
I am so glad that you made it home safely. I am sure many prayed for your safe return home, myself included.

I think I am ready to return to blogging myself, but will take it a little slower and will make some adjustments
Wow - you already got your tree up - hm - not sure, but I think I will by a new one this year. Our looks a little beaten up
Blessings to your Tuesday and always.
