by Lori

Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns.

Pumpkin carving – yes! We carved pumpkins last year, and I hadn’t done that in ages. I forgot how wonderful fresh raw pumpkins smell! Then there’s the amazing orange color. Here’s another favorite that didn’t make it to my list: roasted pumpkin seeds.

And I forgot candy corn? Oh that’s just not right! :D

Love your name, Laurel. I thought that it was so pretty that I named a dear someone that once upon a time.

Oh, yes–I have a pair of the pointiest, teeniest-heeled Steve Maddens boots dh got me a few years ago. I’m old enough to wear them for a few years–no one expects a 30-something mother of four to be hip! Lol.

Oh! Apple everything! Caramel apples, apple pie, apple fritters, fried apples… oh we have our glorious fill of that beloved fruit!

Oh, and pumpkins! Pumpkin cake, pumpkin bread, toasted pumpkin seeds, pumpkin pie… oh we have our glorious fill of that beloved vegetable!

Oh and turkey… Do you see a theme going on here? :)

I love hayrides, the crisp air, football (!) and the idea of snuggling up to Mr. Right at a bonfire or a nice fire in the grate.

Laurel,

Great list. Thanks for checking out my list too. You asked if I was a hockey mom, I’m not yet but my son is old enough to take a skills class for street hockey at the Y this fall so we’ll be doing that.

How cool to share your daddy’s birthday! Wonderful list!
