It is Thankful Thursday and I would like to tell you everything I LOVE about Iris. (yes I know her birthday is not until Saturday, but lets celebrate a few days early!!!)
1. Her tender heart. When I go flying off the handle about something, she sweetly brings me back to earth and helps me see the good in all things.
2. Her giving spirit. She gives and then she gives some more. She has blessed me so many times.
3. Her friendship. She is the one person I know in the blog world who I can turn to, and she can say “well I don’t think you were right in this situation.” She is one I can go to for the truth even when it may hurt my feelings. I LOVE THAT!
4. We may go a few weeks without talking but as soon as a crisis hits or I may need prayer, she is the first person I turn to.
5. She is the only one in blog world I have met in real life.
6. I love the fact she is from Germany and she educates me on other cultures.
7. As a friend she draws me closer to the Lord.
8. We share the same kind of quirky humor.
9. We share the same hobbies (even though she is better at all of them =). But that is because your older right?
10. What I love about Iris the most….she puts up with me! Happy Birthday my sweet friend, wish I was there to take you out. I am so blessed God brought you into my life almost 2 years ago. God knew I would need you!!

What a sweet and heartfelt devotion. To a YOUNG woman who is totally devoted to her GOD. I loved it!
You girls have been such a blessing to me…I have poured my heart into e-mails to both of you…and pressed enter—and held my breath. Did I scare them off with my life troubles? Was always my first thought. BUT no, you neither one were scared off with my life troubles…but you held me up in prayer. I love you both for that. You are a GIFT from heaven for me when it seemed all my treasures were being snatched away. I love you dear hearted girl.
