So how was your day? Hopefully cleaner than mine.

Some of you have toddlers that like to take off their diaper. Well I have a dog that got in the trash and greeted me with this when I got home from work. Hope your day was better…

I have to say I have a REALLY clean tub and floor now. Don’t mind me I am going to go shower now, I still feel yucky after washing my hands 20 times. Oh and my Tub, well it is filled with Clorox soaking right now. May not get the desire to take a bath anytime real soon.

And this is why I blog….to get sympathy, heheh.

  • Oh ... yuck!!
  • Darlin' I could top that---but to tell you about my oldest daughter dealing with her 2nd child and his diaper he took off in the baby bed...and spread the joy around...might really gross you out and you might not wanna be my BFF any more. So I will refrain. Instead, I will say, thankfully bleach comes in some really happy fragrances now....yup. That's all I'm sayin'.

    Love you girl!!
  • Eww! What a sight and task to have to face when you get home. I am so glad someone invented bleach!
  • Oh my goodness! Like they say, clorox is a woman's best friend. Well, maybe not, but it comes close!

Bless your heart! I have been there. I have done the cleaning up thing. I have on occasion forgotten the lesson learned and left the trashcans where they could be "accessed". A heads up here - In the kitchen, the 2 little dogs can't reach things on the counter or knock down the trash can. However the slightly larger one can reach up and has several times reached the stick of butter left too near the edge of the counter. Bummer. Don't purchase butter very often.
As far as the bathroom goes, anything with human...er, secretions on it is fair game to the dogs - a used kleenex, feminine hygiene products, diapers (adult or baby) - they'll take it.

I now keep a small trash can on top of the commode or on the side of the vanity top. Not sure when they'll figure out to hop up on the toilet seat to get to the trash there, so I've been keeping it on the vanity, unless we have guests (then the dogs go into one of the bedrooms).

The kitchen trash is usually safe now with the lid on it when it's mostly empty. But if there's something in there that I suspect will really pull them into the kitchen, then the whole can goes out in the garage until it's full enough to tie off the bag.

Hope this helps prevent future mishaps for someone.

  • Oh dear - I am so sorry that this happened. Can imagine that you want to take a long shower now...
  • Oh my goodness. You poor thing!!
  • Nice! Been there, sadly. Such is life with dogs and babies. My friend used to DUCT TAPE her kids diapers on. No kidding.
  • Makes me grateful we DON'T have pets. Yuck.
  • OH MY!!!!!!!!!
  • I'm only guessing from your post label that this is pooh and not food. I think I would die from my own gag. :-)

Better you than me...at least your floor, your tub, and you are spic and span!!
    :-)
  • Eeeeuuuwww! Sorry about that. Not the way you wanted to spend the evening. Bummer.
  • Oh Laurel... Yuck!! I feel your pain. You make me smile and I know exactly how you feel. Dogs.... it's a love hate thing... more love than hate but there are days.....
