GIVEAWAY:

Yesterday I gave you a list on how to get started if you are interested in Digital Scrapbooking. Well Serif Software contacted me and would like to give away one free copy of their

Digital Scrapbook Artist

Scrapbook artists are increasingly turning to their digital images and computers to preserve memories such as a trip abroad or a child’s first day at school. Recognizing this trend, Serif, a leading developer of professional design and graphics software, today introduced Digital Scrapbook Artist™, (List Price $39.95), its photorealistic digital scrapbooking program. Digital Scrapbook Artist offers a unique combination of unlimited creativity and ease of use, meaning that anyone, regardless of experience, can create handcrafted digital scrapbooks that look true to life.

Now before you enter, make sure your computer system meets these requirements. This way you will know the program will run correctly on your computer:

- Windows XP or Vista

- Pentium PC with DVD drive

- 512 MB RAM

- 830 MB free hard disk space

- Internet connection is required to upload designs to share with family and friends on DaisyTrail, Serif’s social scrapbooking site

This looks like a wonderful way to get your feet wet in Digital Scrapbooking. This computer program just came out October of this year, so it is brand new.

To enter head on over to Serif Digital Scrapbook Artist and (http://www.serif.com/scrapbook/)tell me, in my comment section, at least one feature the program allows you to do. On the bottom of the page is the word “Easy to Use” click through to see the different options this program has, and how it can help you preserve your memories.

To gain another entry stumble this post. (let me know in the comment section if you did, so I can check)

As always, I’m most grateful should you enjoy Laurel’s Reflections enough to subscribe in your reader or via email (see sidebar), but it’s not a requirement for entry.

Also if you enjoy beauty products I am trying to get the word out about Beauty Inside and Out, if you are interested I would love for you to also subscribe via reader or email it is separate from this blog.

Hi, I have some card making experience behind me, but no digital scrapbooking or cardmaking! With your beginning instructions and this
"Digital Scrapbook Artist", I think I would enjoy going digital. I like how creative you can be with the software. I like frayed edges, brush on stitches and adding shadows and effects. Please enter me in your software drawing. Many thanks, Cindi

  • I have been looking and looking and thinking about getting started but some of the costs I've read for this stuff can feel a bit staggering. I LOVE that you can upload, print or email - all from the same software. The embellishments are awesome, even the fact that you can create your own scrapbook "paper" from their designs. ohhhhhh how I hope to win this one and if I don't, I think I'm buying it!!! What an awesome giveaway. Thank you for doing this!
