Beach Runaway

I want to thank you so much for all the comments you made concerning my rambling post. I can not begin to tell you how God used your comments to speak to me. I did run away to the beach on Sunday, it calmed and refreshed me. But boy am I red….sometimes I have no brain because I went to the beach on the fly and forgot sunscreen. Just call me tomato =)

    I am sorry that you are red like a tomato...but to be honest with you, I wish I had a beach to run away to.

    OK, this is my all time favorite layout you've done with Photoshop to date. I love it. Sooooo oceany.

    You have to know, don't you? that I'm about as jealous as I can be that you can just run relax on the beach on a moment's notice. I can't begin how much planning and budgeting it would take for me to be able to do that. I'm so jealous, I'm not even sorry you got burned.

    OK. I'm sorry you got sunburned. Kind of. A little. Sigh.

    I ran away Sunday too--but it was just to my house.
    I woke up Monday feeling refreshed.

    Good for you taking the time to take care of yourself! Last weekend I had a day of refreshing, not at the beach, but in the forest by a creek. This verse popped out at me.
    Acts 3:19
    Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord
    I don't have to have all the answers, I just have to turn to the one who does and let Him take care of all my concerns. He always does a much better job than I do! In the same way He guides me I also trust Him to guide my children. I only pray they listen to Him better than they listen to me. ;)

    I'm so glad you got to have a day at the beach,..but very jealous!

    As for the sunscreen, I am a fanatic! I have bottles of it in every car and bag I own! You poor thing!
