For those of you just joining us don’t forget to visit Day 1, 2, 3, & 4.
Did you enter Crystal’s giveaway? If you didn’t, go now we will wait… Ok, now for the final day, day 5. The giveaways will be open to enter until September 9th.
I do have to mention there is a server upgrade going on with my blog, beginning September 5th. I am told it is done in the evening and it will only take my blog off-line for approximately 30 to 40 minutes. So don’t worry if you come here and the blog is down, just be patient while they are upgrading my server. Most likely you won’t even notice.
Every day this week I had a giveaway here on my site. Also I highlighted a new blogger who hosted a giveaway on her site! So you had the opportunity to enter two giveaways. That is at least two chances to win.
You have until September 9th to enter, I will be announcing the winners on the 10th. Good luck to everyone, but my main goal was to introduce you to some fine women and hopeful you met some others along the way.

You may have heard the name Lysa TerKeurst. Officially she is:
….an award-winning author of 11 books including her latest, “What Happens When Women Say Yes to God.” She has been featured on Focus on the Family, Family Life Today, Good Morning America, Woman’s Day Magazine, “O” Magazine and on the Oprah Show.
She is the co-host of the Proverbs 31 Ministry’s national radio program, which airs daily on over 1,200 stations as well as a writer for the ministry’s e-mail devotions called “Encouragement for Today,” reaching more than 210,000 subscribers every day.
Unofficially, I have found Lysa the most humble, sweet, wonderful woman God has laid in my path. I as so nervous about asking her if she wanted to join me in this “I Love Fall Giveaway.” Honestly, I don’t know where I got the nerve; when I hit “send” on the email I was cringing thinking, what did I just do. Less than a day later I got an email from Lysa not only saying “YES” but asking how she could help. I sat there looking at the response knowing God took my wish and blew it out of the water.
What Lysa does not know is when I first began blogging and met my wonderful friend Iris at Sting My Heart, one of the first gifts I received was her book “Living Life on Purpose.” I spent many days waiting for my oldest son in the school parking lot reading her book. Now the well worn book sits with book markings where I have underlined and bookmarked many pages. It is a book I refer back to. My favorite quote in her book “Living Life on Purpose” is:
“Just because something sounds like a worthy cause does not mean it is part of God’s plan for me.” I have that quote stapled on my heart. I have a tendency to over plan my life; when I do I pray this sentence and try to let the Holy Spirit guide me.
Lysa TerKeurst is hosting a wonderful giveaway on her blog, one you don’t want to miss. I am amazed at what she is putting up as a giveaway, head on over and visit her here. Then come back for more….

Not only is Lysa hosting a wonderful giveaway on her blog, but if you don’t win there then you have an opportunity to win a signed book from Lysa here on my blog. Lysa has graciously offered one of my readers a signed copy of “Living Life on Purpose.” I am so excited to be able to offer this up to you! My prayer is that you will enjoy and mark up the book just as I have.
To win a signed copy of “Living Life on Purpose” by Lysa TerKeurst give me the title of one of her blog posts.

One title is “Evan Almighty”. I’d absolutely love to read this book
*Thanks* for the giveaway!
One of her very first posts: The Power of a Pause. (I’m shameless, because she references a story of mine!)
Sounds like such a life affirming book! One of Lysa’s blog posts is called “Trust!” I would so appreciate being entered in this delightful book drawing. Thanks very much, Cindi
Refusing to Gossip (which is a must read)!
Great Expectations!
I loved “Remember Who You Are.” Thanks for all the fun this week!
“She’s a Redneck Woman.” Thanks for the chance to win!
“Off Kilter Day” was one of my favorites recently. I keep thinking on the truths she shared in that post. Her posts are always such a blessing! I have never read this book by her and would love to win it! Thank you for doing this giveaway!
“Refusing to Gossip” is the name of one. Thanks for the opportunity!
“Off Kilter Days.” Here’s hoping I win! This book looks great.
rufusing to gossip sounds great!
Lysa’s is my favorite blog to read. I can’t remember when I initially found her, but I read it almost daily. I love how funny and charming and REAL she is. One of my favorite blog posts was “What to do when my ugly comes out” which is about a section in her upcoming book. One of her funny blog titles is Super-calla-fragilistic-extreme-halitosis”.
Laurel, I so agree with you on Lysa. She is a wonderful woman – and her ministry is awesome (reminds me I have to renew my subscription to their magazine)…I cool that she joined you in the Fall giveaway.
Since I already have this book, don’t enter my name in this drawing
Also, thank you for your kind words about Sting my Heart. I know that I have not been a good blogging buddy, but with His guidance – I am getting back on track with the important things in life!!!!
((((hugs))))
Sorry, forgot the “t” – should have read “It is cool that she…”
Great Expectations. I love Lysa Terkust and would so love to win one of her fabulous books! Thanks for hosting these amazing giveaways! I was just dropping by to read up on your latest posts and discovered that you’re busy as a bee giving away great prizes. How fun!
“She’s a Redneck Woman” was really humorous.
Laurel, thank you for do this giveaway! It’s been so much fun visiting some new places (although Lysa’s isn’t new to me).
Have a blessed weekend.
I enjoyed her post, refusing to gossip, it was much needed in my life at the time
“No More Yukkies.” Loved the title she had “My Bathtub is Overflowing, but I Feel Drained.” Actually, I have heard of Lysa, I think she even was the keynote speaker at an event I attended, but I have not had the pleasure of reading one of her books. Who knows, maybe I will win the opportunity.
I loved “Refusing to Gossip” – great post!
No More Yuckies is her most recent. I love Lysa’s blog. Was first introduced to her when my Bible Study group did her book, When Women Say Yes to God – awesome!
Thanks!
No More Yuckies is a title. I read Lysa’s blog every day, and even met her at the She Speaks conference and got her to autograph a book for me. But NOT the book your giving away, so I hope I win!
Lysa wrote one of my favorite posts in Feb. 2008, “And then she placed her tiny fingers on a typewriter.” I love her writing. Thanks for the chance to win this book!
Her most recent blog post is titled “No More Yuckies”
refusing to gossip…great blog she has
No more yuckies
Refusing to Gossip caught my eye!
Hey,
Refuse to Gossip!
Cheryl
I need to correct ~ Refusing to Gossip

Lysa’s Great Expectations blessed me. Count me in on the giveaway!
LOL, one that keeps me laughing is “Exactly How Does This Happen?” on 12/27/07. I swear, every time I think of the photo of that dog all wrapped up in the “fluffification” tulle, I bust out laughing again. That poor baby – oh my, it’s just too much! Leslie
Trust was one of the blog posts I enjoyed!
The Domestic Bug
“No More Yuckies” I would love to win this
