Don’t you hate it when…

by Lori

You develop a post and you accidentenally hit publish when you should have hit “save”? I do, and then you go back immediately to click save instead of publish, but it still shows up on everyone’s reader…Ugggg… So if you got my “I’ll be back post” it was a bit premature, I don’t leave until Monday. Still fun and exciting things happening until then…

Does this kind of stuff only happen to ME! =) Hope you are having a great Friday.

Oh and by the way, both of my older sons caught a pass in the endzone to score a touchdown last night for their first flag football team. They both looked awesome. Yea, I was the woman screaming. For the parents that did not realize I had TWO kids on the team, I just looked like a crazy woman cheering for each person. Oh well I don’t care, my kids heard me =))

I have hit publish before I was ready to publish. Mostly it happens when I too excited about something.
Very cool that your kiddos scored in their first game. So what if people think you are crazy :) It is neat that you are so excited!!!!

I spent all day yesterday trying to make a broken webpage do what it is supposed to do so I missed out on tons of fun. Glad about your sons, and that you willl be having time with your hubby (Read about that over at Sting My Heart.) Trying to be more dilient on comments again--kindof--I kept going to leave comments and forgetting.

YAY! I did that just this week, and I felt like a Big Dork Who Shouldn't Use Machines Without Adult Supervision (BDWSUMWAS, for short).

Oh, and because I'm Artsy (read: not athletic in any way, shape, form or fashion), when we go to sporting events, I cheer for EVERYONE who does well. Doesn't matter which kid, or which team.

When I was in high school, I went to all the football and basketball games (I was in the band - GO BAND!). I asked my best friend, a guy who LOVED all things Sport, "Y'know, you think if I went to TG&Y (who remembers TG&Y?) and got each of those boys his own football, we could just call it a day here?"

    He did not think so.

    Have a great trip!

I've done that too. I think you might be able to go back and click "save as draft" and it will unpublish, but I'm not sure. Otherwise the copy/paste is what to do.

    Have a great weekend!

First of all, YEY!!! for your sons! Way to go! And, I would be the crazy woman, too. I used to be, at basketball games. Alas, I got the "M-o-o-o-m" look and the accompanying eyeroll from across the court a few times.

Yes, I have hit "publish" before, too. Good tip, Susanne! :)

That's too funny about the crazy screaming woman! You're just an enthusiastic onlooker. :vD

I've done the publish save thing too. You can always go to the preview part and copy it, paste it into a new create post and save it , then delete the old one.
