What Tour of Homes Meant to Me.

by Lori

There are so many times where we feel like we are on this roller coaster called life. Going from one task to another, offering up quick prayers, hoping the Lord understands. Then something happens that makes you stop and think and praise God, because he just blessed you.

I became a “blogger” because I thought it was so neat to see all these homes and I did not want to be left behind. I have been a regular surfer on many of the listed web sites. And I can not believe how many times I have been blessed by what was written or said. I cried with “BooMama” over the loss of her friends husband, I laugh hysterically with “Fish In My Hair’s” blog, and I am inspired each day by the words of wisdom of “In the Midst of It” blog. Each person bringing their own separate talents sharing life with the rest of us, and I could go on and on listing more and more blogs that bless me (it will take awhile to get them all up on my favorites).

I loved looking at everyone’s houses, inspired me to do something with mine. But more importantly I loved the Sister Christian love I felt going to each and every one of them (yes I looked at all of them). Sorry if I did not post, but if I stayed any longer I think my husband would have unplugged me. Ha!!

So thank you for all of you that opened your homes, thank you for making all of us feel right at home. Thank you BooMama for your awesome ideas.

Thank you so much for your sweet words--it IS like a sisterhood, isn't it? (And as for the wet books, they don't usually get wet, but sometimes my son pretends he's a dolphin in the tub, or I drop the book completely in the water--which has happened a time or two!)

    Welcome to Blogland!! :)

Thank you for the lovely mention of my blog! I love the photos of your home, and your blog is so artistically done. Mine is an aesthetic train wreck; I think people stop by just to see the ongoing disaster.
