Everyday Mommy…

“…For I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.”
Philippians 4:11

Today I want to give a shout out to my sister and tell her how thankful I am that she is in my life. I have seen her grow in ways beyond my imagination. I have watched her blossom into a wonderful woman of God.

With the 5 year separation between us, life was not always rosy and we always seemed to be on different pages. Until, I would say, the last several years. We are now closer than we ever have been. God broke her and rebuilt her into a woman with a powerful personal testimony that I know He will use to his glory.

She has been blessed with two beautiful girls, they are giving her a run for her money and some days she wonders if she is really cut out to be a mommy. I am here to say “J, you are a GOOD mommy”. Your girls love you, I love you, and I am sooo excited to see what God does with your testimony.

I love you Sis.

Why don’t you head on over to Jules over at Everyday Mommy . She has a post so people can list things they appreciate. Things we at times can take for granted. Also, while you are there leave your link for your Everyday Things, and put on your blog what you are thankful for.

Aw, so nice! I always wished that I had a sister. I’m so glad that the two of you are friends now.

That’s beautiful. My sister and I are only 2 years apart and yet we have always been such opposites that we never got along from junior high up. Until God did a miracle for us! Now she’s one of my best friends!
