Morning Glory from Seeds From My Garden is hosting Christmas Tree Treasures. She says:
You are invited to post as many photos as you want, of the special ornaments that you hang on your tree each year. Share with us why they are special to you. Maybe they are family heirlooms, things your children made you or you had as a child, or special theme collections — whatever it is that you put on your tree that brings you pleasure each year as you decorate it.
So here are few from my tree.
My Mother in Law and Sister in Law started me on this collection. These are my expensive ornaments (which I have yet to buy one myself thanks to relatives). But they are Wallace Gold plated, with the year on them. I began my collection the first year of marriage.
I just love this ornament, it was given to me. It is very fragile, but I always put it right up front. It shows Mary and Joseph and the Christ Child.
Most of the items on my tree are gold, cream, or white. But I really like this ball. The picture does not do it justice to the detail on it. It has its own special big box to store it in.
Ok you are going to laugh, but I do live in Florida. So this is a pretty glass ball with gold palm trees on it.
My Mother in Law buys the kids one ornament a year. I think this one was really cute.

Merry Christmas!!
Those are really beautiful! I especially love the elegance of those pretty balls. Thanks so much for sharing these and the memories they hold for you.
Your expensive gold plated ornaments are gorgeous, Laurel Wreath. And I love, love the one with palm trees on it. I wish I could figure out how to make ornaments out of seashells.
I also really love the way your photos have photo corners on them. Question. Did that come with the new design Susie did or is this something you learned how to do?
Guess what? I’ve got the sparkling pine Yankee Candle you sent me burning this morning and my house smells exactly like we have a real tree sitting in the living room.
Your blog is GORGEOUS! So not that I have to keep up with the Jones but you totally gave me the nudge i needed to give my blog an update. Okay-I will come back later to read the post-it’s Friday and I have lots to do at work.
Seriously! Love the new blog design

Your gold ornaments are just beautiful. I love the nativity one especially. Palm trees, fun!
I’m enjoying seeing everyone’s ornaments.
Truly, it took me awhile to get past your beautiful new blog look to actually enjoy your beautiful ornaments! As I said before….Susie has a talent for being able to create a blog that is so in sync with the preson who writes there…your new design is no different…it speaks of an individual who is quietly generous in spirit.
These are gorgeous, and I LOVE the palm tree one!
Your new design is wonderful. I’m anxiously awaiting mine.

I like all your ornaments.
I thought the palm tree was cool at first when I looked at I thought it was a dragon fly.
Thank your for taking your time to show me your ornaments.
Your ornaments are so beautiful…no “misfits” in the bunch! Makes my tree feel a little dowdy
Maybe we should post photos of the ornaments that DIDN’t make it out of the storage box, but we can’t bear to throw out. I’ve got a couple of doozies.
Thanks for sharing.
Lovely ornaments and great stories behind them. This is my first visit to your site - I hope to make it back. Stop by and visit my ornaments if you have a minute - I’m running late!
I love angel ornaments, too. Thanks for posting such lovely photos. I posted two of my favorites as well.
I love the Nativity one and the snowball one especially! It was so neat of Morning Glory to think of this and host it. We just got our tree up Saturday and I just got my pictures up this afternoon.
Thanks so much for your sweet, kind words on my post about my mom.
