When one member hurts, we all hurt.
That’s why CWO has gathered a team of women from around the world that are ready to share your burden and take it to the Lord in prayer.
If you have a problem, God has the solution.~CWO
There is now a new place where you can list prayer requests and know that a group of women will be praying for you. Head on over here to find out more. (or just click on the picture)

Today’s meme asks us to post a prayer for this family on your blog. Pray for their future, and for the understanding in the purpose of all of this.
Heavenly Father, I thank you that we can come before your throne with our “why’s” and lack of comprehension and you hold us and comfort us. Father thank you for taking us just as we are, broken, downtrodden, and weeping.
Father I bring Cannon’s family before you. I know Cannon is with you right now, and for that I celebrate his lack of pain and suffering. You knew the plan for Cannon’s life before he was born, you knew how things would play out. We may not know or even understand your purpose for Cannon’s life, but even in the blog world I see how many lives he has already touched. Father I pray for Carla. I am not a mother who has walked the road she is walking, but you know all her fears, hurts and anger. Wrap her like a warm blanket and carry her through this most difficult time. Be with Carla, help her to find the life you have planned for her. Let them lean on each other, and you holding them both up.
Father I know this is an imperfect world, with so much pain. But I thank you for your presence, I thank you that you will walk with them every step of the way. Thank you that I have the privilege to pray for this family in their time of need.
Amen.

Judi over at Mommy of Two is going through a really tough time with her son Grayson. This is the last update:
this will be a short update. Grayson is not recovering well. He has been vomitting all day today. He is now “dry heaving”. He has been throwing up green stuff and some blood. He is showing signs of labored breathing. His bowels are not moving and they hear little bowel sounds. He has had to have a chest and stomach XRay. We do not have the results yet. He will not eat, he won’t even take his pacifier. He is exhausted but won’t sleep. They are not sure what is causing the problems. The doctor seems to think if it was surgery related it should have started sooner. They have had to start another IV to administer IV fluids.
Keep Grayson and his family in your prayers.
Sunday UPDATE: It look like Grayson is doing better, the reason for the throwing up had something to do with a viral infection (praise God it was not something worse). If Grayson eats well and keeps his food down it looks like they may be able to go home today. Keep Grayson in your prayers, he is so young his little body is fighting all this stuff and trying to grow stronger at the same time. Blessings.
I praise God that Heather’s daughter Rachel is back home, pray for her continued recovery.

I recieved Lisa Whelchel’s newsletter and I just have to share a portion of it because I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
Stop for a second, breathe a quick prayer, and ask God to interrupt your plans, agendas, schedules, and to-do lists sometime this month to simply thrill you. As audacious as that sounds, it is not a daring request. You don’t really think that if you asked your Father in heaven to throw you a surprise party that He would give you a “White Elephant” exchange instead, do you? Can you dare to believe that God will get an even bigger kick out of delighting you than you will by being the recipient of His lavish love? God is bigger and sweeter and funner and wealthier and huge-r than you could ever imagine. But try anyway. Then ask boldly with expectation of His extravagant grace.
Heavenly Father, interrupt me and surprise me. I am like a kid awaiting a birthday party. I get sooo excited in what you have in store. I love you, Amen!! -L
If you have never been to Lisa’s sight I encourage you to visit it, it is full of a wealth of information.

Lord, Keep me from the habit of thinking I must say something on every subject and on every occasion.
Release me from craving to straighten out everybody’s affairs.
Keep my mind free from the recital of endless details - give me wings to get to the point.
I ask for grace, enough to listen to the tales of others’ pains. Help me to endure them with patience. But seal my lips on my own aches and pains - they are increasing and my love of rehearsing them is becoming sweeter as the years go by.
Teach me the glorious lesson that occasionally it is possible that I may be mistaken.
Keep me reasonably sweet; I do not want to be a saint - some of them are so hard to live with - but a sour old person is one of the crowing works of the devil.
Give me the ability to see good things in unexpected places, and talents in unexpected people. And, give me, Oh Lord the grace to tell them so.
Make me thoughtful, but not moody; helpful, but not bossy. With my vast store of wisdom, it seems a pity not to use it all - but Thou knowest, Lord I want a few friends in the end.
This is a prayer that was carried by my grandmother in her purse, then it was passed on to me (by her =). I love it, and it is very special to me.
