My heart is heavy this morning, I am praying for all. But in reality I don’t really think we can comprehend thousands of people gone in the blink of an eye.

Today, I am living with a profound sense of God’s love and a desire to be an overflowing vessel of that love. I just received news from friends in Florida that their six-month old son passed away last Friday after complications from minor surgery . . . this after the mother miscarried the previous pregnancy. May the precious body of our Lord find its way to love in this broken world . . . no matter what!!!
We have been long time monthly supporters of Samaritan’s Purse. My heart is breaking too. We have missionary friends, a family of 7, right in the midst of the earthquake in China. Last we heard from them they were debating whether to spend the night in the building or outside where everyone else was streaming. The decision was it was safer outside. We are praying for all those people in the area.

My heart is SO heavy too. Our precious daughter Ashley was in Yangon, Myanmar in Feb….with YWAM. We’ve been on our knee’s for this country, as the outside world really DOESN’T even begin to understand the rulings these precious people are subjected to.
Listening to Ashley share the stories…has been heart wrenching.
We are praying and believing that through these terrible events, Jesus’ name will be lifted up.
On my knees,
Kim~
We prayed for these situations tonight during our family Bible time. So, so sad. Thank you for your reminder.
I notice too my heart is burdened for others. There is so much devastation going on both physically and spiritually. I feel like I’m to be an encourager in HIM in this season. So many need the Hope with have in Jesus.
Blessings in Christ–
I am praying.. it is really tough to imagine any of that… I remember being in NYC for 911 and let me just say it still seems surreal…
God Bless!
You are absolutely right, Laurel. We all could be gone in a blink of an eye. I guess I am just trying to do my best to not set my treasures here on earth.
Thank you for the link to Samaritan’s Purse. Wonderful organization!
