Is it summer yet?

Weekends like this give us all spring fever. We went to a nice company picnic, planted over seven trees this weekend (Oh please help me not kill them Lord!).

Got all my laundry done, cars were washed, hedges were trimmed….Yep it was a nice weekend. My two older boys are gaining a social life, so it was just youngest, manly man and I. Of course when they returned we told them about all the fun we had eating cake and ice cream at all hours of the day. I am a good Mom like that coolbeans.gif

I am not facing the fact my oldest registers for his high school classes on Tuesday…nope, not thinking about that at all. If I don’t face it, it does not exist right? DENIAL IS MY FRIEND…they all stay little like my youngest below, right?!

Hope you had a good weekend!

My kid brother (18 years younger than me and 16 now) already registered last week–my mom told me ALL ABOUT IT. :) And my mom says that the boys never grow up (my other brother is only 4 years younger than me and getting married next year–in Florida! ) Girls on the other hand, well, I guess they do, but I think my mom is partial since I am the oldest and was always the little mother.:)

Oh, and you got more done than I did. :)

My youngest starts high school next fall — and I just realized with as start last night that he can get his beginner driver’s permit this fall!! Augh!! My baby!!!

Sorry to tell you they grow up whether we want them to or not. My oldest will be 18 in a couple of months and I gotta tell ya, I can’t wrap my head around that one. He’s in the kitchen right now making pancakes….all by himself! Let’s see if he burns down the kitchen :)

Oh please don’t make me covet your weather. They just lifted our blizzard warning and we had to dig out the boots to go shovel our driveway out.

We got snow this weekend, lots of it…it’s just disgusting cause the snow was all gone here already and then we got another dump of snow. I wanted to rake my yard this weekend and unfortunately the snow prevented me from doing that.
You sure had a productive weekend, I wish I were you!

It sounds like you had a perfect weekend!! :-)

You are right…if you deny it…it’s not really happening…..your son preparing for H.S. that is…….at least, it’s not happening…till this fall!! lol

Oh we’re so enjoying the 70’s that have been here the last two days! Ahhh, finally some sort of heat!

Can we go back and revisit the line that says my laundry was finished? Who knew it could actually ever end, even temporarily!
Glad you had a good weekend!
