1. I am thankful for books.

2. Friends who make me laugh.

3. Coffee.

4. Warm socks.

5. Night cream that promises to make me look 10 years younger.

6. Supportive bras.

7. Waking up and hearing the birds sing.

8. Sunshine.

9. Hair clips that give my hair style on bad hair days.

10. Comfy p.j.’s.

11. And wonderful sisters I have. I am blessed.

Coffee…..nice comfy pjs….and I’d have to add a nice warm shower before settling into the nice comfy pjs and sipping a cup of coffee. A cup of coffee sounds really good and relaxing about now…….

Hope you’ve had a great day!

Wonderful list, Laurel. Sorry…the wrinkle creams don’t work but the sunshine and singing birds do!

Praise God for P.J.s and coffee…for me..my idea of heaven is a 24/7 cafe where we can wear our p.j.s, pink fuzzy slippers and read books all days and never worry about laundry or dirty dishes again!

Husband’s idea of heaven is 24/7 football with no interruption from me. LOL

Oh, girl – I am in such a need of a good hair-cut…I have been putting my hair in a pony-tail. I think I am getting to old for pony-tails
The nights are still nice and cool – love it when I get a little chilly :)

Thank you so much for sharing your grateful heart with us this week.

Be blessed today and always…

Ah, such a very good list, and one that speaks to all my favorite things, too. Okay, except my hair is shorter than yours, so I don’t do hairclips. But I would if I could!:-)

Ha ha – you make me laugh. Good bras and miracle night cream! :) I’m thankful for those things too!

With the exception of the hair clips this could be my list too. My hair is too short for clips, but boy, I love every single other thing on your list. :-)

Supportive bras!! ?? Funny! I guess I’ve never had that on my list before. HA! And now I’m ready for that cup of coffee!! Thanks for sharing precious sister! Have an amazing day!

Oh your list covers most of my basics… I’d just change out Grace for #5 and Mr. Right and the kids for #6 and I’d be good to go. (Hey, when you don’t have any, the support is quite superfluous to say the least.)

A fine example of giving thanks in ALL things! :-)

I love comfy pajamas!!

Shonda April 17, 2008 at 3:49 pm

Oh yeah–the coffee. And I just bought some expensive night cream with that promise. I hope it is true. I am thankful for the little sparrows I see outside my window as I’m reminded that I am even more valuable to my Father than those little birds.
Blessings in Christ–

Oh my! Numer 6? Let’s just say I won’t go in to details, but that is not how I would phrase it. I would love “fitted” ones of the number 6 variety. You make me laugh! And, minus 3 and 5 (not my idea of fun), this is a great list.
