Ok I have been holding out…

by Laurel on April 6, 2008

we are in to cheap slave labor; least that is what our boys would like me to share with you. Saturday we were doing chores around the house. Manly man cleaning the cars inside and out, I was doing the inside of the house (because well that is where the A/C is..duh Photobucket )

We had the two older boys help do some stuff around the outside of the house (like picking up trash and carrying some smaller size logs, etc..) SMALL STUFF PEOPLE. I went outside to see how everything was going and got to talking to manly man, then I asked “where did the boys go?” And he did not know. When I walked into my house this is what I found:

Yep, feel sorry…feel very sorry for them. They have poor parents that work them to death.

Ok off to find more ways to torture my teens.

Clearly they need to do this more often, they need to toughen up!

Sounds good to me. Nothing like teaching the kiddies the importance of hard work and a good afternoon nap!

Totally cute! The nerve of you mom! To work those poor boys into a state of total exhaustion! Bless their precious teenage hearts!
I loved this! Whew!—but I can say it brought back some not so pleasant memories of myself begging and pleading with 2 teenage daughters!!!

I don’t feel a bit sorry for them. You obviously feed, shelter and clothe them. Could you possibly send them over to my house next? I have so many boxes to pack and very unmotivated children. Maybe I’ll go get a bunch of quarters and motivate with cash.

Oh my, I think we’re on the same torture team. My son tried to act as if a chore was too much for him; I told him to buckle up because he’s about to go on a Character ride!

Shameless, Laurel, how hard you work those boys! LOL.

When they wake up can they come over here and do my yard work? Oh right I have three teens who all of a sudden have a ton of homework they hide out in their rooms to do when I mention yard work! LOL.

Poor, poor things. Set them to digging ditches–that will toughen them up. :) That’s what my dad did (he was an excavator in the summers.:))

How funny! Teen boys must have a market on this. When it comes chore time, all of a sudden mine gets so very, very sleepy! lol
